Jaskinia Herbaciarza started as a sign-up page for a small tea-tasting initiative in Gliwice — meetups where we learned to brew and got into the history of tea. The initiative ended, but the knowledge and the collection stayed, so the site took on a new role as a tea knowledge base.
Every variety has its own page: history, how to brew it, and where it can actually be bought. Content lives in a database, so adding another tea doesn't require a code change or a new deployment.
The whole thing is wrapped in a visual identity built on old-engraving illustration — dragons, seals, paper with the look of use — instead of the default look of a product catalogue.
Key features
- A catalogue of varieties with history, tasting notes and brewing method
- Content lives in a database — a new tea needs no code change
- Polish and Ukrainian versions
- Original old-engraving illustration instead of a storefront template
